Welcome
to Sandy Hook Ski Club Website. Situated on the waters edge of the
Burnett River the clubhouse was first opened in 1978. Since then the club has been involved
in many events. Recent years
have seen the decline of marathon and lane racing at the club with only a few
marathon races now held each year.
The club is also involved in one of Bundaberg’s biggest sporting
spectaculars Bundy Thunder.
Bundy Thunder is held on the first weekend of November each year
attracting thousands to the area to watch the magnificent Power Boat racing. The club offers great facilities to our members including a well equipped club house, a locked car park, a 3 berth boat ramp, a playground and a shaded grass area for families. We hope you enjoy our website.
